The teaching and methodological activities of the Department of Economics and Finance are carried out in accordance with the University’s approved plan.
Over the past three years, the syllabi of academic disciplines within the educational programs 6B04104 – Finance, 6B04101 – Economics, and 6B11102 – Restaurant and Hospitality Business have been revised and improved. The scope and types of students’ independent work have been уточнены, new forms of knowledge assessment have been introduced, and the structural components of the programs have been updated. All syllabi are prepared in full compliance with the current university regulations and guidelines.
Syllabi, methodological materials, and other documents related to various types of students’ academic activities are discussed in order to enhance their quality at meetings of the department and the Institute’s Methodological Council, undergo thorough review by the University Educational and Methodological Office, and are approved by the Academic Council of the University at the beginning of each academic year.
Teaching and methodological activities are implemented through the delivery of corporate professional development programs, including the “School of Pedagogical Excellence Program,” “Program for the Development and Design of Educational Video Lectures,” and training seminars on the organization of the educational process.
All teaching and methodological publications authored by the department’s faculty members are available on the University’s website in the Online Library section.
In order to promote the exchange of pedagogical experience, mutual class observations among faculty members are conducted on a regular basis in accordance with the approved schedule. In addition, open classes are held.
The distribution of teaching workload and planned methodological activities corresponds to the qualifications of the faculty members.
