Department of Economics and Finance

The educational and methodological work of the Department of Economics and Finance is carried out in accordance with the plan of the university.

Over the past three years, work programs for academic disciplines of educational programs “5В050900/6В04104 – Finances” and “5В050600/6В04101 – Economic” have been revised and improved. The volume and types of students' independent work were clarified, new forms of knowledge control were introduced, the structural components of programs were changed, etc. All work programs are designed in accordance with the current instructions at the university.

Working curricula, methodological developments and other documents related to various types of educational activities of students, in order to improve the quality of their content, are discussed at a meeting of the department, the methodological council of the institute, undergo a thorough examination by the University's educational institution and approved by the Academic Council of the university at the beginning of the current academic year.

Educational and methodological activities are carried out through the implementation of educational programs of corporate training: "The program of the School of Pedagogical Skills", "The program for the compilation and development of educational video lectures", "Training seminars on the organization of the educational process."

The interaction between teaching, research and teaching in the context of the EP of the department is manifested in the fact that the teachers of the department published monographs, study guides and video lectures in the state and Russian languages (see Table 1).

In the 2018-2019 academic year an educational-methodical complex in English was published by V.V. Godunov for students of economic specialties in the discipline "Finance", in the 2019-2020 academic year I. Bayazitova published a textbook "Basic of economics" for students of economic specialties.

All educational and methodological literature published by the teachers of the department is posted on the university website in the "Online Library" section.

In order to exchange pedagogical experience on an ongoing basis, the teachers of the department attend classes in accordance with the approved schedule. In addition, open classes are held.

For 2017-2019, 14 open classes were held at the Department of Economics, and 21 open classes were held at the Department of Finance and Banking. In connection with the merger of the two departments in the 2019-2020 academic year, 14 open classes were held at the Department of Economics and Finance.

The distribution of the teaching load and the planned methodological work corresponds to the qualifications of the teachers.
