Research work is one of the most important activities of the Department. The research activity of the Department is carried out in the General scientific direction "Theoretical and practical aspects of the development of the legal system of the Republic of Kazakhstan".
The teaching staff of the Department actively participates in scientific-practical and scientific-methodical conferences and seminars at various levels, including international. Teachers of the Department are preparing for publication, and published in journals included list of Web of Science (Tomson Reuters), Sсopus, as well as in journals recommended by the Committee on control in the field of education and science of the MES scientific articles, theses on various areas of specialization, publish monographs.
Considerable attention is paid to the scientific work of students, there is a research circle "Modernization of the legal system of modern Kazakhstan". They carry out course and final qualifying works on disciplines of Department, actively participate in activity of scientific student's circle, make reports at student's scientific conferences and the Olympic games.
